A warm welcome to Countess Elizabeth Howe to SV2G
We are delighted to welcome Countess Elizabeth Howe to SV2G as our Honorary Member. We are looking forward to a successful working relationship with Lady Howe in the future.
Countess Howe succeeded Sir Henry Aubrey-Fletcher Bt KCVO as Lord Lieutenant of Buckinghamshire. Lady Howe was appointed by Her Majesty The Queen when Sir Henry Aubrey-Fletcher retired last year. She is the first woman to hold the Office in Buckinghamshire and has been an active member of the Lieutenancy since her appointment as a DL in 1995. A lord-lieutenant is the British monarch’s personal representative in each lieutenancy area of the United Kingdom.
