Coronavirus Covid-19 Pandemic
To our loyal members, volunteers, supporters, and partners,
We hope and trust that you and your families are keeping well in mind, body and spirit. Forgive us for being a little bit quiet recently; it’s been difficult to know what to say, so we’ve focused on doing a lot of listening to the experts, our members, volunteers and to our staff.
Following last night’s announcement by the Government regarding new measures for people to stay inside and work from home where possible, in order to prevent the spread of COVID-19; all scheduled lessons, workshops, performances and activities have been postponed.
Our absolute priority is the health and wellbeing of those who work with us and those who we deliver services to. Despite these challenges our team will be operating remotely for the foreseeable future. We are contactable during normal office hours via email and our office phone no. Where possible, all external meetings will be held via video or conference calls. A limited service is now in operation, if we have a current contract with you, we will continue to work with you to deliver where possible during these unprecedented circumstances. These measures are now in place until further notice.
We will continue to stay in touch through our digital and social platforms, with reopening dates to be confirmed as we navigate the weeks ahead together.
Finally, we would again like to thank you for your loyalty and support to SV2G, Wycombe Steel Orchestra and the School of Steelpan, during what is clearly a very challenging and uncertain time for us all. We hope that where possible you can stay at home and look after each other.
Our very best wishes,
