The Governor General and the Prime Minister for St.Vincent & the Grenadines visits High Wycombe

Prime Minister Dr. Ralph Gonsalves accompanied by his wife Eloise Gonsalves, addressed the Vincentian Diaspora and friends at a public meeting at the Bucks New University in High Wycombe on Wednesday 27th April 2011. The event was attended by Sir Frederick Ballantyne, Governor General of SVG; Cenio Lewis, High Commissioner for SVG to the UK; Dr Christopher Stange, Hon. Consul for SVG to Northern Ireland; Roberts Chairman for SV2G and The Mayor of High Wycombe and the Chairman of Wycombe District Council.

Prime Minister Gonsalves updated those present on the developments in the country.  He announced his visit was primarly to attend the wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton on Friday 29th April 2011, Westminister Abbey.

SV2G were very fortunate to receive the Prime minister  and his family for lunch and SV2G Chairman Jacqueline Roberts was able to update him on the developments of the organisation of which he is the Patron.
